Wayv was formed in late-2001 when I needed a new name for a group that I was playing in. I picked up on a beach theme (being a big Brian Wilson freak) and misspelled it. So there you have it, WAYV.
Then I signed on for a summer in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" with the idea that the band would start back up as soon as I finished the show. Then I played in Still Surfin, a Beach Boys tribute band, for a year. Then I did another summer of "Hedwig" and by then the band was no more. Leaving, in effect, me as it's only member. So, I became a solo act and will be posting stuff here as I finish it up. Mostly this will consist of song sketches as I finish them or old tunes as I find them.
